From creation, Africans have held important positions in world history. They have taken the lead in the civilisation of the world. Writing began in Egypt. The science of embalming began in Egypt. Scientists have been researching the secret of the Egyptians’ ability to embalm the young Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamen that made it possible for the corpse to remain intact 3,200 years after burial. The first university in the world was in Timbuktu, Mali also in Africa. It is only in Africa that buildings have been erected starting from top to bottom; this is in Ethiopia.
At different times, Africans and black people have exhibited high level of intelligence in making several inventions but have allowed the West to steal these inventions and call them their own. Africans and black people should be purged of inferiority complex and all the trappings that tell them that they are underachievers. The author stresses the importance of educating Africans and black people in general to be men. He stresses the need to rid black people in general of being brainwashed to accept that they are underachievers.
The author also mentions in this book that it is important to educate the African to appreciate the fact that iron was discovered by Africans; that Africans ruled the world from 763-713 BC; that while Europe slumbered during the dark ages a great civilization flourished on the banks of the Niger, extending from the salt mines of Terghazza in Morocco, to Lake Chad, right to the Atlantic.
The main message in this book is changing the mindset of African and black people in general to see themselves as equal to other races, spiritually, mentally and physically. It is also, to help them to look at no humankind as their superior. The book will help purge them of inferiority complex and underachiever’s mentality.
In this book the author tries to point Leaders of African nations, the people of Africa and black people as a whole that they must be firm, patriotic and not sell their countries to the West for little or nothing but for selfishness and greed. That they must realise that no one goes to the grave with wealth. That it is the legacies that they leave on the sand of time that they would be remembered. That they must have the interest of the common man at heart before anything else. That those in politics must realise that they are servants of the people and not there to enrich themselves by carting away the money meant for the development of their respective nations and turn them into personal use. That nations that looks big must split peacefully into smaller countries in order to stop the stealing of the country’s wealth and bring about development. Nigeria, for example can be split into 36 countries. This done, we bet, in just two years, watch out for development. Some countries in Europe are not as big as some states in Nigeria. Many are even smaller than each of the current states in Nigeria. Democratic Republic of Congo could be split as well. This will reduce tension, stealing and conflict in the region.
Let us create two new states, one democratic and the other communist. Give them ten years from the date of creation; come back to the two after ten years for assessment. I assure you, the communist would be better developed. It would be found that the democratic will be less developed because the money meant for development would have gone into private pockets of those in government. .
Humanity’s Concept of God is a well-researched masterpiece specifically written to encourage readers to discover the truth about creation as opposed to the theories of big bang and evolution.
Written with real academic rigour, the author Onwusa Opiah, through persuasive arguments by facts and figures including photos, passionately postulates that from the beginning of time, humanity seems to be confused as to whether God exists simply because He cannot be seen. God, on the other hand, tries to make Himself known to humanity either by medium or by communicating with them directly as will be seen in the book. At different times of human existence, God has shown humanity that He loves them and that it was out of His love for humanity that He created them and wishes to interact with them, by manifesting His power to them using the weak or unschooled to show that all humankind’s achievements are through Him and by Him.
The book focuses specifically on how impossible it is for any cell or part of the human body to replicate into another it is not designed to be.
The content of this book, Humanity’s Concept of God, will help readers understand that the universe was created by an all-powerful, all-knowing and loving God, and that there is no scientific proof that the universe came to be as a result of big bang and evolution.
Jos Boy’s Tale of the Nigerian Biafra War is written to bring true reconciliation and to show those who are currently leading many countries of the world that, “you gain nothing by violence.” There is honour in peaceful settlement of any dispute. Onwusa Opiah in this book postulates that an inclusive government with qualified people in positions of authority, in line with their potential, would enable Nigeria to achieve greatness. He defines patriotism as the ability to give up selfish interest for the general good of the people. It encompasses taking action devoid of nepotism and the success of the country and its citizens.
Writing this book is also aimed at correcting the erroneous impression held by many people in Nigeria that the war was fought because the Igbo people wanted to secede. As can explained in the book, this impression cannot be true as the Igbo people called home any place they found themselves in. It is written to provoke readers, that if within two and a half years, Biafra was able to build a refinery and manufacture other things, what stops Nigeria after sixty years of independence?
Nigeria has been falling from grace to grass. There is now need to revamp it. The emergence of Peter Obi is God’s plan to revamp it. God uses human beings to bring anything He wishes to do to fruition as He will not come in person to do it. This is in line with God’s use of Moses in Exodus in the Holy Bible to liberate the children of Israel from Egypt. He used Dr Martin Luther King Jr. and President Obama and now the use of Rishi Sunak the present British Prime Minister to say to the whole world that He created all men equal. The fault of underachievement is not in anyone else but in the under achiever. You have to work hard and train religiously in order to achieve it.
Nigerian leaders fling away greed and be patriotic. I say the same thing to African leaders and developing countries. Learn to love one another and think of those you are governing. God has the power to remove any leader that is not doing well. Do not toy with God. Christians do not lack faith. Believe God and see His salvation.
